Winstitchen Cottage is one of the oldest farm stead’s on Exmoor, situated above simonsbath on the two moors way. Winstitchen Cottage is in the most discreet location, with its own private garden and parking. The moor gate opposite leads to the quiet bridle way. Where cream teas, ice creams and homemade sandwiches can be enjoyed by the river in Withypool. In the heart of Simonsbath a down hill stroll brings you to the magic of ‘The Exmoor Forest Inn’ or Simonsbath tea rooms on the River Barle. A beautifully unspoilt & remote setting. Tranquility at its best.

We are a kind and considerate family, farming and enjoying our local heritage.

‘The Exmoor Forest Inn’ produces sustainable, local and delicious food. Their own lamb, beef and venison can be enjoyed by a log fire with a choice of wines or a glass of port. There are several small pubs situated locally. All with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Spoilt for choice.
