Great hotel in the middle of Notting Hill. It was close to the Portobello Markets and other shopping areas. It's a 10 minute walk to the tube station so it's easy to get around from the hotel. The room was small, but it had a super comfortable bed and some interesting wall art.

Great location near the underground with lots of restaurants and a market nearby. The room was clean and comfy. It’s right above the pub and noise was not a problem. Also loved the stylish renovation of the building.

Portobello Road Market

This colorful weekend market is set in the vibrant Notting Hill neighborhood. You can pick up everything from antique collectables and handcrafted trinkets, to vintage clothing and second-hand books. Vinyl vultures should swoop by the legendary Rough Trade record shop and browse the racks for rare albums.

It is huge and it's worth the visit if you're looking for vintage clothes. It's best to go very early, since it gets really crowded very soon. Some stands very great, but others sold the same souvenirs you see everywhere.

Very fun if you’re a shopper and like unique things.

Very fun if you’re a shopper and like unique things. Go early on Friday. I bought 1930’s knives with Bakelite handles in the original box for next to nothing. Fun antiques and new things too. Take lightweight market bags to fill up. And maybe your husband or grown daughter to carry them🤣
