We loved our stay here. Sadly, the weather turned and we couldn’t do the Tongariro Crossing hike as we’d planned. But the lovely woman at check-in gave us several other shorter options that we could fit in before the storm hit. We spent an entire day curled up on the comfy sofas in the lounge. The staff started the wood stove (yes, this was in summer! :), and we felt grateful to have such a lovely place to ride the storm out. The staff was all very helpful and we appreciated their service with a smile, especially so close to Christmas. If we’re lucky enuf to come back, we’d love to stay again.

Hilton Lake Taupō is a beautiful hotel. The facilities are excellent with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a little out of the town of Taupō, but it’s walking distance to the lake, so the location is fine.

The Millennium Hotel and Resort Manuels Taupō is located right on the edge of Lake Taupo. It offers luxury accommodations and facilities that include a heated pool, sauna, gym and tennis court.

It’s located on best location with stunning lake view. We booked twin superior bedrooms which has gud size, neat & clean. We were happy with our stay.

The room was very clean, the bathroom was well presented and good to have a kitchenette too, which included a microwave and airfried (no elements). There is limited choice of accommodation in town, which is why I ended up selecting this motel
