Good for exploring the forest of Dean but the village of Ruardean had little in the way of shops and facilities. There was a good selection of maps and brochures of places of interest

Goodrich is an amazing and beautiful town, with friendly people. The location is great to get to places in the Wye Valley. This house is lovely and fits 5 people just fine. It had everything we needed. The host was great and the welcome packet was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Location was perfect- esp with kids. There are forest walks and river walks from the door, and enough space inside for two small kids.

We had everything we could possibly need. We are a family of 10 , we booked all five cottages for our family Christmas together which we do every year. Each cottage was nicely decorated with Christmas decorations which made each cottage very seasonal. Every cottage was beautiful clean, lovely comfortable beds and bedding. Well stocked kitchen with everything needed. We also had the added wonderful surprise of deer passing by our Windows really beautiful. Also our little cockerpoo really had an enjoyable time. Accommodation was spotless and all details as described with fabulous views over countryside from annexe window.

Exceptionally well equipped property in a good location to visit various places in Herefordshire area. Lovely private garden area in which to relax in a peaceful environment. The downstairs bedroom is ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The owners were in regular communication with us before the holiday. We were very impressed with The Granary and would have no hesitation in returning. Little extras provided by the owners were a lovely thought.
