QatarThis is one of the best lodge’s I have ever stayed in, the location is perfect, right in the middle of the beautiful farm land of New Zealand, not a long drive from the nearest town. The place is super clean and cozy, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing scenery and farm animals. Alyson is a great host and makes you feel right at home. I’ve been to this lodge twice now and I am definitely coming back!

JapanIt was modern, clean, comfortable. The hostess left delicious brownies, ice cream, fruit, fresh (still warm) bread, fresh orange juice, milk, and bacon and eggs (which we cooked) for breakfast. The nespresso machine with milk frother was great too. The apartment is very private, and very close to Matamata.

It was close to the Hobbiton attraction and our host was exceptional, he was really helpful and kind. Very clean facilities, and most importantly a warm place to come back to. We appreciated having the little kitchenette where our host left some bits and bobs for breakfast, which was really convenient.

Such a perfect getaway. The facilities were excellent and luxurious. The bed so large and comfy, the kitchenette perfect, the coffee machine made me want to get one for myself and that shower was next world!

The location is perfect if you’re going to Hobbiton. The place is really cute with everything you need (in the kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom) with a private and covered parking space. In addition, Diane is a truly nice person who helped us with all we needed. If we pass by Matamata again, we will not hesitate to sleep here again!

The room was very spacious and generous. The bed was comfortable and quite big. Everything was super clean and tidy. The kitchenette was well stocked in terms of utensils and crockery.
