Charming property. Spacious - well laid out for families and a few young children with spacious living areas and comfortable bedrooms. Ideally located from park and ride into York. Views from around the location are nice - although being a brief weekend break, we didn’t have time to have a full walk around the estate. Supply of wood and kindling was available and generous. Parking out front easily for 3/4 cars, plus outdoor three-pin socket available. In summary - a lovely property for a large extended family, and close by to places to visit. We were well looked after. In a sense - ideal.

A beautiful, peaceful retreat that is perfectly located for easy access to York. The swimming pool, croquet, and tennis are the cherries on top of the cake. The Garden House is perfect for a family retreat as the oldest to the youngest were perfectly happy.

Beautiful surroundings. Lodge is superb, everything we needed. hot tub great.

So peaceful and tranquil, from beginning to end. Loved the location, was easy to get to attractions and towns around. Everything was clean and staff where helpful on site.

We stayed in a picturesque village of Crayke on our way to York. It's just a short drive away from the city. The cottage was really nice with plenty of space for our baby cot and the bed was comfortable. It has all the amenities for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The lodge was clean, tidy and comfortable, with a nice view from the deck. It was also a good size for the whole family, and the kitchen facilities were especially good.

The staff (particularly Vincent) were very attentive and accommodating. The decor, lodgings and food were excellent.

Super location, spacious room and gorgeous bath in corner! Loved the historic ambience. Clean, good facilities in room (tea, coffee, biscuits, chocolate) nice toiletries, fridge. Comfortable bed, room temperature just right and lovely high ceilings. We enjoyed it so much we have booked again for the same time next year (Black Friday) Staff were all friendly and one staff member gave great recommendations (we took despite having visited many times before as you never know it all!) We therefore had lunch on the recommended Old York Tea Room which was also fabulous! Thank you ❤️

It was very nice and quiet, very clean and tidy, toilets and wash room were easy to get to and were very clean. Great place to stop and get taxi into city centre

Great room with wonderful view

The owner Priah was very hospitable, kind and went the extra mile!. Priah Gave us a discount on an extended stay and also allowed us to leave our luggage overnight free of charge due to an emergency we encountered, all in all great place comfortable room and a great place to stay in the city.

Near to town smelt fresh and new guy on the reception was lovely

it was very cozy. The people were very nice. The room was small and cozy, with a nice vibe. It had a nice shower with a towel warmer.

The place was very cute and comfortable! It was clean and a good walking distance for everything we wanted to see. The owner was very helpful!

The area of the Vikings Accomodation is easy to reach from the train station and a 10 minutes walk to the city center, which was incredibly convenient. Plus, the area felt safe and is very well taken care of. The check-in and check-out were easy and our host was incredibly lovely - he gave us many helpful tips for our stay and was truly lovely. The room was spacious and with plenty of space for our lugguage, a tea area, very comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. Has to be mentioned that everything was spotless! Not just the room, but also the common areas - with a fully equipped kitchen and living room area. Wish we could have stayed longer, but we will be returning for sure on our next trip to the UK!
