All the staff were very attentive, nothing was a bother. We were late arriving, the kitchen stayed open to allow us to have dinner, which was lovely as usual. great breakfast too.

Great traditional inn. Bar lively but we were not disturbed in our room. Good Staff, efficient and friendly landlady and also the patrons in the bar were all friendly. Room was a double, spacious, clean, comfortable. Pretty curtains and bedding. Innerleithen is a lovely town with interesting shops and restaurants. We ate at the Indian restaurant and it was delicious. Traquair House is incredible and must be visited🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Two couples stayed for a night here and had a very comfortable pleasant stay. Clean comfortable bedrooms with ensuite. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Food in restuarant was very good all in the company had a different dish and all enjoyed their meal. A car is reccomended to explore the surrounding area as the inn is in a small village.

This hotel is in an excellent location for a vacation in the Scottish borders, right on the main road of Melrose. The staff was excellent. They were very nice and helpful. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and in a peaceful environment. Highly recommend.

Quiet location in the tweed Valley but easy to get to...

Quiet location in the tweed Valley but easy to get to Innerleithen and Peebles by car. We decided to eat in a pizza restaurant in Innerleithen which we would highly recommend " Out Out ". Excellent area for cycling and mountain biking.

Lovely spot with easy access to Innerleithen, Galashiels and...

Lovely spot with easy access to Innerleithen, Galashiels and Peebles. Less than an hour to Edinburgh. We loved Traquair House, Abbotsford, Kailzie gardens and some excellent nearby restaurants. We made a couple of trips to Edinburgh during our stay as well.

Walkerburn has few facilities.

Walkerburn has few facilities. Need to travel to Peebles or Galashiels/Melrose for a choice of shops and for dining out. Elibank House is located a few miles from the village on the other side of the river in a lovely location along a minor road.
