This is a beautiful place in a great location. My son and I enjoyed sitting in the sun, next to the river, drinking lager after a hard day's riding at the Dave Thorpe Honda Off-road Centre. The staff and other guests were really friendly, the food was excellent and the rooms comfortable and spotlessly clean.

The gentleman who checked us in was empathetic and went out of his way to give us a more suitable room. Chris, who served us breakfast the next morning told us about a fabulous bus service that took us to the sights so that we could have a driving break! The king room was fabulous and had a bath. Could have stayed longer had we not committed to other places 😭

It was a lovely location in a little village. Pleasantly surprised by the breakfast provided by the owners. The bread, scones, jams and cereals were wonderful. The interior was beautiful!

A quaint old village inn and hotel with a real friendly...

A quaint old village inn and hotel with a real friendly country feel. Even the locals were what you would expect of Village life. The bar staff were great as was Jaynes Pimms the real way. The lanes to the village are a bit challenging for us city folk but once in the beer garden…. Peace and tranquility. The food was excellent and well presented.

Beautiful English village, very well kept, very peaceful.

Beautiful English village, very well kept, very peaceful. Apart from the pub there is an old church, village green, war memorial and 2 "pack horse" bridges over small stream. English village at its best.

Very typical pub/hotel in the national park of Exmore National Park. I liked the atmsophare in the hotel a lot and that all rooms had their own vibe and style. It is very quiet there, parking is in the courtyard free of charge and the breakfast was a "full english" and was delicious! Would come back anytime while in the area.

Beautiful location. A traditional thatched hotel/pub with stunning interior. Jayne and her staff team made us feel welcome during our four night stay. Breakfast and dinner menus were great. Loved the pies xx
