Secluded and serene. Love how the homes are built on their own individual mounds of grass allowing for separation and privacy from neighbours. The homes themselves are well equip and spacious with a beautiful shower. Property has 2 friendly dogs belonging to the family roaming around, who came up to greet us and play ball. Host was very welcoming and helpful.

Loved this property! Clean, modern, and affordable. Easy to get to, and only about 15 minutes outside of Selfoss. This was the perfect place to stay to end my time in Iceland. Also, being outside of the city allowed for viewing of the Northern Lights. Sara was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Hot tub was a fantastic bonus as well!

Absolutely beautiful cosy little log cabin, with everything you could possibly need. The location was perfect for us, but close enough to get to the major sites with a rental car. The hot tub was amazing, especially after long days out exploring. This will forever be a special place to us, as we got engaged here and are already planning to come back after our wedding! Could not recommend this place enough!

It's not close to town which makes it a good location for...

It's not close to town which makes it a good location for stargazing or catching the northern lights if the weather cooperates. There aren't many cottages giving you a degree of privacy that feels exclusive. It's close enough to Selfoss to be convenient for dining and basic needs. We used it as a springboard to all of Southwestern Iceland as far as Vik. Great location! The property owners live on site and are amazingly responsive to any issue in addition to being courteous communicators.
