Mallard Grange Farmhouse is over 500 years old, has a lot of character and is rather quirky with the odd creak and groan, but has a lovely friendly atmosphere. The home of the Johnson family since 1933 and offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation to guests since 1993.

There is lots to do and see in this area; for history lovers, Fountains Abbey World Heritage Site is less than a mile away. Markenfield Hall, Ripley Castle and Newby Hall are also within a short drive. For garden lovers the RHS Garden is just a 25 mile drive away, Newby Hall has wonderful herbaceous boarders blooming all summer long. For music lovers check out Ripon and Harrogate Festivals. Or just borrow a map and drive or walk in some stunning countryside before dinner at an excellent local country inn or restaurant.
