The city of Galway is too cute and scenic, with many nice places to go for a couple of beers and traditional food. Really enjoyed my walks there moving from the main square to the seaside and up the little river. Would recommend a couple of days to stay."

"I had a work night out in the city and the Metropole hotel was a great location to stay in as it’s very central and close by to pubs and clubs , I had a great night sleep as room was very quiet and bed was super comphy, the breakfast in the morning was perfect it kept me going for the day , I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in and will definitely be returning."

"I love Killarney. I could live in Killarney. It has everything you could possibly need; a great town center with many restaurants, pubs, stores for shopping, grocery...And as a bonus you have a national park within driving distance with many activities. My favorite is the Gap of Dunloe. We drove the Gap of Dunloe several times, after 4pm....very important detail. If you drive early there are many jaunting cars and hikers walking the path. But it is very easy to drive after 4pm; lots of pull outs to move over for passing cars or to stop and take photos. One time we drove all the way through to the Black Valley and on through to the Ring of Kerry. Amazing scenery. Would highly recommend."

"Limerick is a lovely city with the river Shannon running through it. It is lovely to stroll by the river or sit on one of the many benches and have a coffee. There's lots of shops, bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries to visit and of course King John's Castle For fans of Frank McCourt's wonderful Angela's Ashes, it's lovely to visit and see where the young Frank grew up"

"The hotel is very nice, there is a private balcony outside the room. I wish we had a better weather while we were there. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants, actually there is a good restaurant next door. The room was bigger than other hotel rooms. Very good coffee and tea station with everything that you might need in the room. The bathroom and the shower were great. In the lobby they have all the information for the beautiful hikes that you can take in the area. I will recommend this hotel without any hesitation. Check in and check out was very fast."

"The Grand Hotel, a tradional historic Irish Hotel is in the city centre with clean, friendly, value for money services not normally found in a three star hotel. Excellent food and service and issues were readily resolved. Our first visit to Tralee we had excellent weather which gave scope to familiarising the location. The local rose garden park with access to the lovely historic St John's Catholic church in its Easter glory. LOcal shops are friendly and excellent choice of retail outlets and restaurants found in the main street and local square. A hidden discovery were the murals which were of good quality. We had the chance to visit the out of town modern retail park which had lovely views of the nearby hills. Out of town we attending a magical wedding at Ballyseede castle set in its own grounds, beautifully landscaped, excellent cuisine and facilities for such a special occasion. We had to visit our friends in Ballybunion which had beautiful clifftop beach, an excellent golf club where we had lunch and a clifftop castle ruin a prominent feature. Oh, lucky friends to be living in such a lovely location."

"We stopped in Letterkenny on a whim after realizing the drive from Giant's Causeway to Sligo was going to be a bit long. We were so glad we did! Adorable little village with plenty of pubs, restaurants and shopping. My husband was able to grab a garment at a men's shop, we got souvenirs at the quaint gift shop, and enjoyed some authentic trad music at Blakes. The Dillon Hotel was absolutely superb for the price, with easy covered parking and breakfast included. Lastly we cannot rave enough about the Yellow Pepper. The desk clerk at the Dillon recommended this restaurant and it was the best meal we ate in our entire trip to Ireland, HANDS DOWN! I got the John Dory special (a fish I'd never tried before) and husband got the warm salad. 10/10"

"Donegal is a beautiful area, rugged and less crowded in April. Would highly recommend this area, particularly to people who like walking/hiking opportunities. Slieve League is a must and Glenveagh castle and gardens, which are open, are charming. Other attractions in the area are worth a visit."
