Very rural, quiet and attractive surroundings and the room had everything we needed. The breakfast was very substantial with 4 different cereals, toast and croissants and jams etc, 4 different types of tea and instant and brewed coffee. The shower was large and very good, and bathroom stocked with lots of extra touches. The room was elevated with a lovely rural view and warm and very tidy and tasteful. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Would stay again, and I see that you loan bicycles, which could be a good thing to do next time.

It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far...
It was a nice rural setting, however it was a bit too far from shops and cafes. The property was unclean and facilities were poor. The hosts were pleasant and helpful. We stayed for one night and that was enough.

This is out in the country, 8 ks from Ohaupo and 13 ks from Cambridge.
We stay in this area as it is close to a rest home in Ohaupo where my wife's brother is in care. The name of Kaipaki would be unknown to most travelers in NZ

Enjoyed Classic Car Museum again, Was looking forward to Zoo, but was disappointed, Could be a lot better with more signage, arrows etc. Lots of animals couldn't find or couldn't see, Map was useless.
Enjoyed the Hamilton Gardens apart from the price.

Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when...
Cambridge is a very pretty town - especially in Autumn when the trees are covered with golden leaves. There is a great farmers market on Saturday mornings. The Town Hall has a fantastic programme of concerts and arts events. There is a nice range of restaurants and bars. The high street has lots of interesting shops. They are very into cycling (check out the velodrome) and horses. I stayed for three nights over a weekend, which was good, to have a look around. If you have longer, in a nice place to stay, you could really unwind.

Beautiful countryside between here and Matamata.
Beautiful countryside between here and Matamata. Very calming. One of the most beautiful places maybe in NZ. Also worth a look is the sculpture walk about half hour from here on the slow scenic road through to Matamata. Much better than the motorway!

What a beautiful place to stay...totally recommend this ... the room was just beautiful...like a luxury hotel.
The bed was amazing...best nights sleep in a hotel ever! Lovely homemade shortbread to go with our coffee.
Plenty of parking. We drove to the Propeller Restaurant and Bar at the Hamilton Airport for a meal....not far and was well worth it...beautiful meal and service.
Breakfast was awesome and hosts just lovely.
Would definitely come back one day.

As we gathered for a family 80th birthday we had a...
As we gathered for a family 80th birthday we had a restaurant meal out before and takeaways later; but were able to mingle and catch up with others at the house . The next day we did the Hamilton gardens followed by a visit to the Hamilton Zoo...both of which we highly recommend!! 😀

I most liked that it was very tastefully decorated and presented we met the hosts and they were very helpful if we had questions. They left us in our own space and we enjoyed that having good privacy.

The new motorway has made Tamahere quite accessible.
The new motorway has made Tamahere quite accessible. The shops around shut early. Tamahere village has beautiful shops, bar & restaurant and bakery. Hamilton city centre on one and Cambridge on the other side of Tamahere are both around 12-15minutes drive.
