The room was stunning, I couldn’t have asked for anything better and I had the best night sleep. The guest house is very safe and secure, which made me feel 10x more comfortable on my first solo trip. The view of the hotel is absolutely stunning! Sadly we are only staying for one night. We have a nice view from our room, and even a surprising sunset view from the toilet! We had dinner before heading to the hotel, but I instantly regretted it because the menu looks attractive and you could sit outside and look at the great view. The breakfast was very nice as well.

Perfectly located on a gorgeous and quiet street, with their own parking spaces. It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness.

The property was very clean, very cosy and warm, very family friendly, beds were extremely comfortable (we looked at the mattress to purchase ourselves it was that comfortable) and we felt like we were home from the moment we walked in. Also we were very grateful for the choice of teas, coffee's on offer plus the well equipped kitchen (cutlery, cleaning products). Also the onsite park/playground (which was very nice) made our 4 year olds stay even more exciting as it was a 20 second walk from our doorstep 👍
