Very large, comfortable room with comfy chairs and a large bed. Also, a balcony, (chairs included) with a view looking out to the street. There is a large lift (suitable for wheel chairs) that takes you straight to the outdoor back car park.

Really enjoyed Paekakariki - walking on the beach, local cafes & pub, the laid back vibe, went to the Caramello Blues show at the church hall (a unexpected bonus). The property was everything we needed, comfortable, well setup, close to the beach & just over 1km out of town, so super convenient.

It was a wonderful stay, having the hottub was such a bonus. Everything was clean and comfortable, great communication, and I really appreciated the breakfast foods and juice. Great value, I'd highly recommend.

You can't see the Villa from the road so you'll need to go slow once you turn into Panorama Road or you'll miss it and then you'll have to do a U-turn to come back down. Look for #14 sign on your left if you're coming back down, otherwise it is immediately on your right when you turn into Panorama. If you're arriving at night, it pays to put your high beams on when you're driving up to the Villa. We arrived in the afternoon, but we spent a bit of time with family so would come back to the villa in the late evening. Once we arrived however, Rob and Cherry welcomed us with warmth and made us feel immediately at home. They showed us to our room and took us on a little tour of the facilities, including the outside. It is a beautiful location, Rob and Cherry have obviously put in a lot of work to maintain the gardens which is full of beautiful flowers. I wasn't sure what to expect as there weren't a lot of information online, but Rob had left some printed information in our room which I appreciated. All in all, I am very happy that we found Cherry Villa. Rob was great at communicating with us all time. Anyone that comes here will love it here. You'll enjoy the peaceful surrounding and the view is amazing. It is for not suitable for bigger groups but if you're a solo traveler or travelling in two, you will definitely love it here. Thank you so much Rob and Cherry for being great hosts. We felt sad at leaving your beautiful villa. Our Ocean room was just perfect, and our bed was the most comfortable. We slept well and just had good night's rest. Thank you Rob and Cherry.

Paekakariki is a town located between Wellington and Paraparaumu and is easy to get to. There are cafes in Paekakariki but I self catered for my stay. The beach there is great for walking along and so is Queen Elizabeth park, the entrance not far from the accommodation. I found Paekakariki a really nice place to relax in.

Beach was calm all weekend. Batches more like fancy houses. Fishing. Swimming, paddling, Great Fisherman Restaurant humming and beautiful menu. Spent a lot in the boutiques. Well-stocked 4 square and Finns liquor. No need for supermarkets

A busy main street, with good options for eateries, beach a few minutes walk away and a lovely and friendly vibe. The food at Finns Restaurant although a fairly short menu was of great quality. Medium rare Angus steak was perfectly cooked and well accompanied. The special, Lamb shanks was also beautiful and tender. The real surprise was the home made wontons which were a real delight. We had breakfast at the bakery across the road from our room which was absolutely delicious.

Lovely & welcoming staff at reception. Free parking out the back which was handy to our room. Clean, comfortable room. Well-maintained rooms for an older hotel and with a nice balcony and view to historic buildings, shops & train watching. Only 300 metres from the beach. (A nice place for a stroll before dinner) The downstairs restaurant makes really nice food. Very tasty and healthy options. We would stay here again.

Love the cosy feel, the safeness of it and the easy going comfort. The kitchen is great. And obviously Paekākāriki is the best. Hope to stay again. I think not having a lot of traffic there maintains its specialness. Flight of the conchords dvd was awesome. Perhaps just put the key in a lock box to make it really private if late comings. I felt a bit of pressure to be there on time.

Lovely, sunny quiet location. Interesting being back in Paekakariki after many years. Heating in the living room a bit marginal and I imagine it would get pretty hot in summer. Everything was super clean and tidy and offered good value.
